Judy’s research of settlements along the full length of the Upper Ouse Valley has included both the Iron-Age -Roman transition and the same for the Roman – Anglo-Saxon period. Evidence included an analysis of the customs used at burial. This recent work is an extension of the doctorate done at Leicester University.
