A guided tour of Bedford focussing on the sites which contributed to the war effort. This included the immense effort put into housing the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the technical side of broadcasting a complete series of musical and religious events. Support to the war focussed on technical innovations , the intelligence programme and above all lifting the nation’s spirit.
