A visit to Jeyes Museum where we heard of the long involvement of the Jeyes Family in developing and then selling the Jeyes disinfectant product. This was followed by a visit to the Museum showing artefacts from their pharmaceutical business and their life in the village.
This was followed by a visit to All Saints Church which is partly Saxon and is the second oldest in the county. A churchwarden gave us a talk on the church’s history and gave us a tour of the bulding showing the main features.
We concluded this would be a great site for a visit by the LfP Art Group.
