The talk described how artefacts are collected and offered to the Museum where they are then  included in the cataloguing process.  One of the major contributors was the museum previously accumulated by former old boys of Bedford Modern School.

The database of artefacts is now digitised and hence searchable from computers in the Museum. Unforunately there are very few entries relating specifically to Sharnbrook. The scope of the items was however clearly demonstrated by displaying many other items from the surrounding villages. We had the opportunity to handle many of the displays and to examine articles / reports from the depositors . We are fortunate to have Albion Archaeology ( formerly Beds County Arch Service) located close by.
