The volunteers of Colworth Heritage Group have established a small museum reflecting both the history of the Colworth estate and the history of Unilever’s Research Laboratory.
The displays relating to the site included archaeological finds and legal documents . The displays relating to Unilvere had diaries/scrap books of staff members and views of the laboratory equipment.
The visit to the House took us through the basement areas and brought back memories of conducting storage testing of novel foodstuffs.
