This BLARS project has just come to completion. All the C19th Quarter Session records have now been conserved and fully indexed for Person and Place. All the cases are now searchable within the online BLARS catalogue which has itself finally been upgraded.
The talk was illustrated by reference to crimes in Sharnbrook and the surrounding villages. The ability to cross reference QS records against Bedford Gaol records was emphasized.
