We were introduced to numerous sources for archived copies of film which depict bygone days and particularly life in the countryside. The most well know being PATHE whose films were ubiquitous viewing at a cinema prior to the main feature film.
The website Historypin is being used by local history groups to catalogue recent projects where collections of photographs or videos are being asssembled.
