The Archivist at the Duke of Buccleugh’s estate at Boughton House talked about the family’s connection with Mark Antonie the owner of Colworth House. It became clear that Antonie’s responsibilities with the family’s estate (s) makes it unlikely that Antonie actually spent much time in Sharnbrook but was rather based in London or touring the honour as the Steward.
