Details
Cranfield PhD students and local enthusiasts have been digging at Warkton , near Kettering, for three years. They have extended the site each year to reflect the geophysics data and have focussed on a roman bathhouse. The finds are well displayed and include in situ floor mosaics and underfloor heating. The day after our visit they are being included in the “Digging for Britain” TV programme and they will hope to reveal more mosaic flooring.
