Details
Hazel explained how her ancestors had been at Sharnbrook during WWII; Frank Dowdeswell , the son of the Station Master, was called up in 1943 and his wife Kathleen used to draw sketches and send them to Frank. The sketches focused on family and village life and often depicted family members and friends including their pets.
The correspondence often included poems about their life together and the love of their dear bungalow on Odell Road
