The talk gave an insight into his early life and how he followed his father’s lead into Engineering and had senior responsibilities for projects at an early age. His achievement of building the complete infrastructure of the Great Western Railway within eight years was immense. He is most well-known for the design and building of Tunnels, Bridges and Railway networks which still operate today.
